This week I was delighted to hear that I have been shortlisted for a Garden Media Guild award.
I am a full member of the Guild, which unites and supports garden writers, bloggers, photographers and other people employed in horticulture, design and garden media.
Each year, the guild hosts a swanky awards ceremony. Normally it is held at the Savoy, but this year, for obvious reasons, we will be attending virtually via Zoom. While the setting may have changed for 2020, the prestige of being shortlisted is in no way diminished.
I am delighted to have been considered for the Alan Titchmarsh New Talent Award and to have been shortlisted along with four top professionals. Read about the shortlist by clicking here.
Obviously, I’d love to win, but being shortlisted alone is a huge accolade and I’m very happy and honoured to have reached this standard.
The awards will be announced on the evening of Thursday 26th November.
