Thought for today - Blog Post 11.07.20 Gardening for Children

I have two young adult children and two younger school children. All have an interest in the garden and landscape, even if primarily you use it to relax or play in.
My youngest two and I have decided today to do more plant propagation you share with family and friends. We’re starting with taking cuttings of houseplants.
The picture below is from a Tradescantia zebrina that I grew From a small, three-leaved cutting a couple of months ago. They don’t waste any time!

To keep it interesting they have decided to compete to see who can produce a Tradescantia zebrina the fastest and who’s will be the longest in a month.
